Washington Regional Transplant Community (WRTC) is the official Donate Life Organization for the metropolitan Washington, DC, area.WRTC is the federally-designated non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) for the metro DC area and is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in lifesaving transplants as well as far-reaching medical research and therapy.WRTC covers all of the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and the "Capital Beltway" counties in Maryland.
