Westside Transportation Alliance works directly with employers and employees to enhance economic opportunity, improve health, and foster a livable community through transportation options.By collaborating with its partners and Washington County employers, WTA offers workplace services and programs that help employees commute to work by transit, carpool, vanpool, bicycling and walking. These services include transportation fairs, assistance with DEQ's ECO Rule compliance, ECO surveying, events, incentive programs, and participation on local and regional planning committees.WTA is a private 501(c)(6) nonprofit and receives funding through several grant sources including federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality funds through Metro and private foundation funds, such as the Kaiser Permanente Community Fund. In addition to grants, the WTA receives funding through membership dues as well as Washington County's MSTIP program.
