Corporate Research International, Inc. was founded in 1997 in Findlay, Ohio by current President and CEO, Mike Mallett. Soon after, Corporate Research International began growing its list of clients and quickly realized that the mystery shopping industry was lacking the technology and automation necessary to make the process efficient and cost effective. As a result, Mr. Mallett began building the technology infrastructure that made Corporate Research International the first mystery shopping company with a completely automated process, and utilized the internet to do so. Technology remains the cornerstone of Corporate Research International's service to clients today. In 2003, Corporate Research International began working with its first major national restaurant client, Papa John's, which remains as a client today. Corporate Research International's expansion into new industries continued, including more restaurants, retailers, banks, convenience stores and many more customer-oriented businesses. The company's growth required a move to a larger facility, and in 2003 Corporate Research International purchased and renovated the Kirk building, a former grocery warehouse that had been empty for many years. This 50,000 square-foot facility now houses 198 employees with room to grow. Corporate Research International's reputation and commitment to service has enabled the company to continue its rapid growth. In 2005 and 2006, Corporate Research International was named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing, privately-held U.S. companies. We continue to focus on delivering the most innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients across the world.
