It conducts annual audits and safeguards hundreds of millions of dollars in county funds. It handles the payroll for Hillsborough County government and pays the bills. It track thousands of pieces of county-owned equipment. It delivers the mail to over 250 locations at all county offices. Clerks keep the minutes of every Hillsborough County Commission meeting and the Value Adjustment Board.Supporting our Courts: Court clerks protect 13th Judicial Circuit Court records, swear in witnesses and record evidence at trials.
