Founded in 2001 by adoptive parents, adoption professionals and a birth parent who recognized the need for practical help for women who had chosen adoption for their child, On Your Feet Foundation is a small, nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering birth parents to get "back on their feet." On Your Feet focuses on helping birth parents build a better life by giving them the tools they need through case management and coaching, grants and community support. Our case management services and grants are available to birth parents living in Illinois and Indiana. Our retreats are open to any birth mother who would like to attend. On Your Feet also provides speakers for adoption related educational courses and panels, including birth parents, adoptive parents and adoption professionals.
