Opening our doors in January 2000, Wise Counsel & Comfort has established itself as the leader in affordable & accessible Mental Health services in the Portland, OR area.Wise Counsel & Comfort is an opportunity for community-minded Mental Health and Wellness professionals come together to provide affordable & accessible care to the tens of thousands in our community who deserve access to professional care as much as those who are financially stable and/or insured.Aside from providing the community with these valuable services, we inspire and support professionals to step into private practice without fear, without unbearable financial burden, and in lovely, professional space in which they and their clients can feel safe and comfortable.To date, we have supported more than 350 clinicians begin and build a successful private practice, and assisted others with a temporary or second office location.
