Founded as a non-profit in 2009, Edesia is the only U.S. producer of therapeutic and supplementary ready-to-use foods (RUTFs) for large humanitarian organizations such as UNICEF, the World Food Programme (WFP), and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).Edesia's mission is to treat and prevent malnutrition for the world's most vulnerable children; our vision is a world in which all people have access to the basic human right of food and nutrition.
