The Super One Series is Britain's premier karting championship, attracting over three hundred top drivers per annum, and run by karters for karters. It has a long star-studded history, with alumni such as Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson, the late Daniel Wheldon, Dario Franchitti, David Coulthard, Jason Plato and Paul Di Resta to mention just a few who have become household names in motor-sport. The series already enjoys the backing of Dunlop, Bridgestone, Maxxis and Vega, all important companies. The class manufacturers and agents Tal-Ko for the TKM classes, and J.A.G. for the Rotax classes provide commercial, logistical and technical support. Wessex Petroleum is in partnership with the Series supplying fuel and fuel testing facilities. The series has enjoyed partnerships with Renault Sport, Total Fina Elf, StingrayRV, Hyundai and many other prestigious companies in previous years.
