We serve customers throughout five counties in pristine, beautiful Southwest Florida. LCEC was formed in 1940 to serve areas no other utility wanted to serve. Today the membership has grown to nearly 200,000 and includes cities such as Cape Coral, Marco Island, Sanibel-Captiva and Everglades City along with areas such as North Fort Myers, Immokalee, Ave Maria and parts of Lehigh Acres.\\Employees are committed to serving the community through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors.
