Exact's mission is to protect natural waters from pollutants contained in stormwater runoff which comes from impervious surfaces like parking lots and rooftops. This is accomplished through the installation and maintenance of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) that hold and treat runoff before it enters creeks, rivers, lakes, bays and ultimately the ocean. These delicate systems all rely on our stewardship to remain accessible for everyone to enjoy. Exact has executed on this mission since 2013, installing and maintaining hundreds of stormwater facilities in their home region of the Chesapeake Bay, as well as throughout the eastern seaboard. In 2021, with the acquisition of Landsaver Environmental, we expanded our capabilities into new markets.
