In 1976, the first Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar opened at the corner of Scott and Lombard in San Francisco, hence the name. The tiny 40 seat restaurant was an immediate success, becoming one of the top ten restaurants in the United States in volume per seat in just a few months. The next six years saw the opening of Scott's in Embarcadero Center in downtown San Francisco, Palo Alto, Jack London Square in Oakland, San Jose and later Walnut Creek and Costa Mesa. Our first location in Sacramento was Loehmann's Plaza in 1991 with Folsom opening in 1999.Scott's Seafood on the River came into existence in 2008 with owner, Alan Irvine at the helm. We wanted to continue our tradition of being Sacramento's Favorite Seafood Restaurant (Sacramento Magazine Reader's Poll) with an unparalleled river view to boot. We partner with The Westin Sacramento and Spa La Le to provide exemplary food, service and accommodations to make any occasion special.Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar has always had the freshest of seafood flown in or delivered daily from around the world, served by a well trained knowledgeable staff in a comfortable atmosphere.
