GroTrans Engineering, LLC offers comprehensive transportation planning, engineering, and implementation solutions.  We leverage our founder's 39 years of experience to ensure that our clients have the full benefit of her expertise.  We specialize in Transportation/Traffic Management, Multi-Modal Solutions, Neighborhood Traffic Calming, School Safety and Protecting Infrastructure Investment.  Before launching GroTrans Engineering, LLC, Jenny Grote served the City of Phoenix Street Transportation Department for more than 30 years in progressively responsible positions. In her last year and a half, she was Deputy Director of the Transportation Planning and Programming Division, and previous to that, the Deputy Director of the Street Maintenance Division. Her previous 25 years were in the Traffic Operations Division managing a wide range of traffic control projects for Phoenix. Jenny was also afforded the opportunity to serve the transportation industry and embraced the mission and vision of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). She served in all offices of the Arizona Section, the Western District, then in 2002 as the International President.  Even today, she serves on several technical councils and committees, and continues to write articles and chapters in technical publications.In 2016, Jenny retired from the City of Phoenix and began the process of transitioning from public service. Recognizing the unique nature of her background, varied experience, and extensive network, Jenny launched GroTrans Engineering, LLC to provide the benefit of her subject matter expertise on transportation planning and engineering projects throughout Arizona, the Western States, Nationally and internationally.  GroTrans Engineering, LLC is a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the City of Phoenix and certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the Arizona Department of Transportation.
