Shaanxi Coal Industry Company is the third largest coal producer in China, with its coal mining operations primarily located in the Ordos Basin, Northwest China. It is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (601225:CH) and has its headquarters in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Coal Geology Group was established as a departmental level provincial state-owned institute. It is responsible for coal exploration and the technical management of the coal industry across Shaanxi Province.
