In 1997 registered charity status was acquired and the following year the accolade of Best Cat Rescue in Britain was awarded by the Friskies Petcare Foundation. Over the years the charity's reputation for excellence and standards of cat care has steadily grown and today the charity serves a wide area stretching beyond its immediate environs of Haworth and Keighley to Halifax, Bradford, Hebden Bridge, Skipton and Craven and beyond, covering an area of approximately 700 square miles.The plight of unwanted stray, feral and abandoned cats in West Yorkshire continues unabated and the charity works tirelessly to improve their lot.
