The UConn Student Alumni Association (SAA) was established in 1983 to promote strong student and alumni relationships through service to the university. We work closely with and directly under the UConn Foundation Office of Alumni Relations to help facilitate the transition from student to alumni while building a lifelong bond to the University of Connecticut. The Student Alumni Association holds a great sense of pride and tradition in the University, and with the affiliation of the UConn Foundation, the Student Alumni Association is able to promote this through a variety of activities and programs. Primary goals of our organization are to:1.) Generate spirit and promote traditions surrounding the University among the student body2.) Instill leadership and communication skills in all members of SAA3.) Provide SAA members with opportunities to network with alumni4.) Connect SAA members with various organizations within the University and surrounding community5.) Provide information about the UConn Foundation to the student body6.)
