BOP Capital has been active for a number of years under the flag of Blue Ocean as the Venture Capital investment arm of a family-owned real estate group. Recently part of this real estate group has been divested to a US asset management group. We continued the activities of the investment arm under a new entity (BOP Capital) as per October 2017. BOP Capital aims to provide growth capital to entrepreneurs with companies where we see long-term value and are related to Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, MedTech and the Silver Economy. BOP Capital does not use bank debt to finance investments and has a hands-on approach in supporting our portfolio companies on a day-to-day basis.
