The Next Door has over two dozen programs that support and empower people in our community. We help people build skills for loving relationships and healthy lives by: • Providing a safety net for children at risk of abuse and neglect and for victims of crime. • Parenting support and education. • Mentoring, education, and treatment for high-risk youth and families. • Leadership opportunities and economic development in our communities. • Health and wellness education and advocacy. • Giving extra support to local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our mission: Opening doors to new possibilities by strengthening children and families and improving communities. We envision a supportive community where all children and families are safe, healthy, and valued.
