In the course of working with the Bone Squad, I focus on patients whose orthopedic care has been neglected by mainstream medicine. The focus of my work is in the ghetto neighborhoods of Chicago. On the South & West sides of the city, most of the patients don't have access to quality orthopedic care and if they are injured or develop arthritic conditions, it's almost impossible to find a provider. I'm about the only private practitioner taking Public Aid/Medicaid and get referrals from the entire State of Illinois. Children, Adults and Seniors are all part of my practice mix. As a result, I get to deliver care to an interesting cross-section of folks while trying to improve their quality of life and help them reach their potential.
