Petro-Chem Development Co., Inc (PCD) was founded in 1939 and has been recognized as a leader in the design and production of fired heaters and furnaces. In 2008 PCD merged with Heurtey Petrochem S.A. of France to become the largest company devoted to fired heaters in the world. Heurtey Petrochem was founded in 1953 and is an international oil and gas engineering group operating in two market segments: 1) process furnaces for refining, petrochemical and hydrogen production 2) natural gas treatment through its subsidiary Prosemat.
