Greenway Solar is a collaboration between Itek energy and the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society to create Community Solar Gardens as a way to produce a large amount of solar energy to be utilized by surrounding homes and businesses. Greenway allows individual and businesses to subscribe to purchase certain percentages of our solar gardens that best fit the needs of your life. Greenway is doing our part to create a more sustainable future and a greener environment, but using cutting edge technology to turn sunlight into power for homes and businesses in Minnesota. If you choose to join the team by subscribing, not only are you cutting down CO2, SO2 and NOX emissions, but you are choosing to save money on your electricity bill every month. Greenway is on it's way to completing the largest community solar garden in Minnesota using Made in Minnesota panels. The energy produced by the 1 MW solar garden will provide both power and savings to over 200 families in our communities.
