We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the welfare of children, young women and families by increasing the number of women who choose adoption, when appropriate, when faced with an unintended pregnancy. We have no affiliations with adoption agencies, crises pregnancy centers, or religious groups. Our focus is on providing factual information so more people understand the benefits of adoption. We believe that if more women choose adoption, fewer children will end up in the foster care system; birth moms will have time to come to a point in their lives when they can better plan their family; more infants will be available to couples waiting to adopt; and it will have a positive social impact on society. We realize this decision making is complex, and that adoption is not the best choice for all women faced with an unexpected pregnancy. However, we want to do all we can to ensure that all women are educated about the benefits of this courageous choice.
