Ajax Pickering Triathlon Club is a not-for-profit corporation with a volunteer board of directors and volunteer coaches. We are sanctioned by the Ontario Association of Triathletes (OAT) and our head coach is trained under the new NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) program. Coach Jim McLellan brings 6 years experience as a triathlon coach, and coach Todd McCall has been coaching for 2 years, has completed all triathlon race distances up to and including the Iron Man, and has completed over 60 races. As a not-for-profit corporation, all monies raised by the club are reinvested back into the club for the benefit of the club members. We offer year-round training in swimming, cycling, and running, and in the spring and summer, we host race-specific triathlon clinics from Sprint to 1/2 Iron Distance races. We will be hosting a full Iron distance race in 2012 with the goal race of Iron Man Regensburg, Germany. If you are looking to train with like minded people who share your passion for the sport of triathlon, then we may be the right place for you.
