Our company founder and president, James Perlman, and his affiliates currently own more than 1,000 units of apartment communities in the Chicago metropolitan area and manage more than 300 units. Offering affordable, luxurious one and two bedroom spacious apartments located within thriving communities throughout the Chicagoland area, while also providing scenic, convenient locations that are close to wonderful restaurants, fun shopping and easy access to public transportation. We offer our residents exciting monthly activates and an array of supportive services.The Perlmark Housing Group continues its' efforts to expanding its portfolio. Expansion elements include acquisition of existing multifamily, conventional and affordable apartment communities, preservation, adaptive reuse, historic preservation and third party management. Our expertise in management and property operations provides the experience to also acquire and restore distressed properties creating additional value to its investors. Properties may be conventional, Section 42 or include HUD subsidized units. Skilled in the development and acquisition fields, we creatively structure a satisfying transaction for all parties. General partner interests in existing tax credits properties are also of interest. While appeal is greater for properties with 100 units or more, smaller properties will be considered part of a larger portfolio or congregated within the same geographic area.
