In 2014, on Vine, he saw an opportunity to be one of the first creators on the platform to take the best highlights from sporting events and combine them with popular music. With posting consistently, his Vine account quickly hit 80,000 followers and the clips he created frequently went viral. A year later, when the Vine sports section began to lose its community, he decided to make a switch over to Instagram. The switch from Vine to Instagram was an opportunity for him to diversify the content he was creating and curating. Whether it‘s on Vine, Snapchat, and now predominantly Instagram, John makes sure to optimize BBALL to where the attention is at. In addition, John consults and collaborates with athletes, companies, and brands to help optimize their social media and digital content strategies.
