Sporting Chance Foundation was founded to provide educational scholarships and build water wells in Haiti. Collaborating with board members and volunteers to organize and execute fundraisers throughout the United States, raising over $200,000 to fund and enhance primary initiatives. Sporting Chance Foundation evaluates programs systematically to maximize local impact, long-term sustainability and financial viability. Additionally, we analyze risk/reward tradeoffs when determining scholarship recipients and locations for education and water ventures. We negotiate with Haitian NGO's and community leaders to guarantee effective and efficient implementation of programs. We initiated emergency programs in response to the 01/12/2010 Port-au-Prince (PAP) earthquake, enrolling 240 children in temporary education programs and hiring 32 locals to begin the PAP rebuilding process
