Sustainability Solutions was founded in August 2012 as a means to support hoteliers by helping them to understand their impacts and practically address them. With over twenty years experience as a hotel manager myself, and having achieved a gold Travelife award, I wanted to share my experience in order to make a greater contribution to sustainability in tourism. Horeca Sustainability Solutions ( HSS) offers a range of packages including site assessment, staff engagement, training sessions, reporting writing and effective customer communications. Given the vast number of small and medium enterprises in tourism, our services can also address bespoke issues on request.There is a growing customer demand for more environmentally and socially responsible products and services, and the tourism industry is no exception. Multi-national tour operators are demanding higher standards from their accommodation suppliers and are obliging them to subscribe to systems like the Travelife Sustainability System.
