Founded in 1967, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn LDI) was the first academic institute of its kind, uniting the scholarly and clinical strengths of Penn's leading business and medical schools. Over fifty years later, Penn LDI remains one of the most productive and influential health policy research groups in the nation.
