For over half a century, Preston Hollow Presbyterian School has been dedicated to educating children of average to superior intelligence with mild to moderate learning differences. The types of learning differences served by our school include reading disorder (dyslexia), auditory processing disorder, oral language disorder, written language disorder, and mathematical disability.The school was founded in 1962 in response to the needs of the Dallas community as the first outreach mission of the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. PHPS is a private coeducational elementary school, housed in the north wing of the church, which enrolls 133 students each year in thirteen classes in grades K-6. PHPS is a non-profit school, accredited by Cognia, to which students are accepted without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. PHPS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or age in administration of its educational policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.
