Anyone who is uninsured in the Austin area and unable to afford care is welcome to come. Services offered by our mainly volunteer staff include exams, basic blood work and chronic disease care, such as for high blood pressure or diabetes. Many medications are offered at no cost as well. Clinic leadership is dedicated to removing barriers to receiving compassionate healthcare and to serving those in transitional life situations, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or religious affiliation. The clinic runs entirely on donations from individuals, churches and other organizations. Grant-making foundations also support the work at Hope Clinic. There are three part-time employees who coordinate the work of the many volunteers who provide exceptional care for our patients. We are always looking for additional supporters who would like to join us as medical or administrative volunteers or as donors. Our website details the many ways individuals or organizations can get involved in caring for underserved neighbors.
