In the early 1990s, HDI Instruments, LLC was encouraged by leading oil and gas operators to develop a safe, accurate replacement for the inaccurate, hydraulic pressure gauges seen through-out the industry. By 1991, HDI had successfully field proven the HDI 2000, a 6" Panel Gauge.
