VisitAble is a start-up company focused on creating a better experience for customers and visitors with mobility challenges. Due to the many exceptions and imperfections in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), there are discrepancies in accessibility between businesses. ADA compliance does not mean an establishment is mobility-friendly. Those with mobility issues have few options, they are often stuck going to the same places that they know are accessible or staying at home. VisitAble broadcasts accessibility information through an online database in attempt to answer all mobility-related questions. In addition, VisitAble has started a Training Certification process to reward businesses who are actively trying to become more accessible, and to provide a more proactive method of considering and improving mobility access and disability etiquette.
