Founded in Fort Worth, TX in 1967, American Automatic Sprinkler is one of the largest merit-shop fire protection contractors in Texas. In 2010, AAS announced that its Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Branch will now be doing business as American Alarm & Suppression. AAS installs and services automatic fire sprinklers, fire alarm and preaction releasing alarm systems, FM-200, NOVEC-1230, and other clean agents, fire-fighting foam, and portable fire extinguishers. We are one of the few fire protection contractors in Texas with a full-time professional engineer (P.E.) on staff. Two of our officers have served as president of the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) and one has served as a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) technical committee member.
