To offer women free, long acting reversible contraception (LARC), the most effective, reversible methods of birth control, thus preventing unplanned pregnancies. Our entity pays for what insurance and other programs may not cover, provides vouchers for transportation, and assists in making appointments. We intend to improve educational and health outcomes for women and their children. By providing access to LARC, we will increase positive pregnancy outcomes for both the mother and the children and improve family life. Delaying pregnancy in a young woman's life has a positive impact on her educational goals, and our program will work to allow more young women to pursue educational opportunities. We plan to work to assist with a reduction of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome rates in our region, which has been hit particularly hard by the opioid epidemic. We provide a means for women and families to plan each child and every step of life through education and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC).
