Based out of a small office, in Hangzhou, it took a team of four people over six months to compile all the listings (hotel, restaurant, retail), review each venue, create the color content, and layout for the debut issue. In December of 2004, the 40-page, inaugural issue of MORE magazine – MORE Hangzhou – was released with a circulation of 5,000 copies.\\Today, from that same small office, MORE has expanded into the preferred, English-language, entertainment guide magazine for the metropolitan cities of Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen with a circulation of 20,000 copies in each city. MORE Hangzhou has also partnered with the Japanese-language, Navi, to greater serve the city's expatriate population. \\Each monthly issue of MORE contains topical articles and interviews that educate as well as entertain. The events guide keeps readers up-to-date with all that's going on, and the restaurant reviews highlight the variety of cuisine being served up in each city. Today, MORE Hangzhou contains information on over 4,000 venues in the area, while, the younger, MORE Suzhou, MORE Chengdu and MORE Shenzhen, each contain information on over 2,000 venues respectively, and these numbers grow every month. \\The magazines, since conception, were designed to be distributed freely, at no cost to the reader, and funded via advertising revenue.\\Find out more about what's happening in town, follow us on weibo: http://weibo.com/morehangzhou and our Wechat account name is MORE Hangzhou.
