Their new implementations helped to revolutionize the agribusiness, and in large part helped bring the industry to where it is today.Through the vision of Wendell Murphy Sr. and his two siblings, Harry "Pete" Murphy and Joyce Murphy Minchew, the Murphy family grew their family business into much more. After years of successful farming, the family began investing in other businesses. Some businesses were started from scratch, while others were already established.Today, the companies run by the Murphys strive to continue the tradition of excellence that the early Murphy family embraced. Wendell "Dell" Murphy Jr., Wendell's son, created Murphy Family Ventures in order to bring the Murphy business endeavors under one management group.
