MUSIC CHANGES LIVES is dedicated to the musical education of the underprivileged youth throughout our local communities. This educational charity is committed to assisting any youth who has a desire for a musical education, but lacks the financial funding to achieve this goal. Many schools, both private and public, have eliminated or drastically cut back on their musical curriculum, programs most of us enjoyed during our own youth. Music truly CAN change a child's life. It's a documented fact that youngsters who learn a musical instrument significantly raise their chances of graduating from high school and going on to college. Yet childhood years pass by all too quickly. An alarming number of our most needy children are missing out on what well may be their only opportunity to acquire skills which will last them a lifetime, not only reducing stress, but facilitating financial stability. MUSIC CHANGES LIVES is in need of a donation from YOU to continue bringing these critical services to the children of our communities. There are numerous ways for businesses and individuals to contribute, including direct financial contributions, donations of instruments, stands, as well as sheet music or other musical equipment. We also welcome contributions in the form of gifts to be used in charitable raffles: a vehicle, complimentary dinners, a weekend vacation, a day on the golf course, etc. Note: MUSIC CHANGES LIVES is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 charity.
