At Chick-fil-A Vancouver Mall Drive our purpose statement is "To care for our community. To nourish the whole person on both sides of the counter." Food, and chicken in particular, is simply the practical resource we have at our disposal to enter the marketplace. What we do in the marketplace is so much more. People, our community, those we know, and those we don't know yet, are hungrier for honor, dignity, and respect than they are for a chicken sandwich. They desire an authentic, genuine connection more than a waffle fry. When we provide the former with the latter then we have arrived at genuine hospitality and remarkable service. The business at large is successful when our people are successful - we see them as individuals and seek to serve each of them in their journey.
