The Manchester Bike Kitchen is a not for profit organisation established by three experienced community workers who have credible experience of developing successful community initiatives. The MBK is formed as a not for profit Community Interest Company (CiC) The Manchester Bike Kitchens mission is to teach and support people in becoming self-sufficient and proficient in bike riding, bike maintenance, organise instructor led bike rides, offer volunteering opportunities to bike enthusiasts and the general public. The organisation is based at the Stretford Shopping Mall in Trafford, at the moment weekends only, this will be the base for the project. We are currently delivering bike servicing & bike maintenance training to the general public at this site. We have staff who are qualified bike mechanics and bike ride leaders via Cycling UK.
