Children grow fast and outgrown their clothes quickly. Wardrobes spill over, and parents - just like other consumers - are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental impact of fashion. Today the apparel industry is the fourth highest polluter in the world, damaging air, water and soil.In response to this, TreasureHouse aims to promote a more sustainable fashion industry thanks to a simple, but effective circular business model. Parents can easily send us their unwanted / outgrown children's clothes at no cost. In return, they receive store credit to purchase pre-loved and new items from other parents via our online platform. In doing so we hope to change consumer behaviour in the short term by encouraging the swapping of clothes, and in the long term, by educating a future generation (the kids).
