The Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) serves the entire Hampton Roads metropolitan area. In 1947, originally the Peninsula Airport Commission (PAC), the airport was established on former Camp Patrick Henry, a World War II US Army base. In September 2009, the facility was renamed Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. Airlines that operate at PHF include AirTran, Delta, Frontier and US Airways, with direct flights and connections throughout the country. Inside the airport you will find a restaurant, bar and news/gift shop. Covered and surface parking with low fees and complimentary shuttle services are available.
