Colville has provided arctic logistics services for many decades, dating back to the 1960's when the company provided the Alaska base operations for the Canadian barge operations that brought seismic exploration equipment to Alaska's North Slope along the MacKenzie River, culminating in the discovery of Prudhoe Bay.
