Research Park Corporation (RPC) was formed in the early 1990's by the Louisiana legislature to help grow and diversify the innovation economy in Baton Rouge and Louisiana. RPC's first major project was to revitalize the abandoned Bon Marche Mall in an underserved section of Baton Rouge. Today, the Bon Carrè Technology Center is an 850,000 square foot hub for technology, research and business with tenant companies that employ more than 3,500 professionals. In the meantime, RPC has emerged as an economic development conglomerate focused on helping Louisiana companies create the jobs of the future. The RPC family of organizations include the Louisiana Technology Park, NexusLA and Innovation Catalyst.
