Julian Morrow and J-J Lorraine founded Morrow + Lorraine Architects in 2008 in the midst of the financial crisis. Responsiveness, professionalism and dogged persistence allied to an exemplary design ethic enabled the practice to emerge from the economic gloom to undertake a wide range of projects for clients including Land Securities, IVG, Westbrook Capital, St Martins and the Howard De Walden Estate. In depth understanding of the entire development process encompassing investment criteria, due diligence, development appraisals and asset management is key to our work. The practice produces well-judged, imaginative architecture which consistently exceeds our clients' expectations and has an expansive portfolio of completed work which includes new-build schemes, interiors and a wide variety of complex refurbishment projects. We have: • A proven track record in obtaining planning consents on difficult, constrained or awkward sites • Experience in handling major packages of work on large commercial schemes. • The ability to lead project teams from feasibility stages through to project completion. • Excellent capability in transforming our clients' requirements into buildable solutions. • Experience in working with listed buildings and buildings within conservation areas.
