SECMON1 was founded in 2017, by a team of three partners, Chris McNaughton, David Graham and Nicholas Gontscharow. The partners had gained extensive experience at large multi-national organisations, in the important cyber security areas of Data Governance, Insider Risk, Analytics, Digital Forensics and Workplace Investigations. They had become increasingly dissatisfied with the cyber security services available in the market. They found that software vendors were pushing solutions without understanding, or caring, if it was right for the business. They found professional services were overly expensive and rarely delivered what was promised. What was clear, were vendors thought very short term and did not understand, or care, about the challenges faced by business.After years of developing and building successful Cyber Security programs, the SECMON1 Team knew it was time to share their expertise more widely. SECMON1 was born.The primary focus for SECMON1 is to understand the unique challenges faced by your business. This means we won't suggest anything if it's not right for the business. We think holistically incorporating your people, processes and existing technology to leverage the best outcomes for you. We believe in an evidence-based approach so you can see the return on your investment. SECMON1 builds long term relationships with our clients, and almost always become trusted advisors as a result.
