What began several years ago as a vision by Sheila Hodges — owner and Chairman of a family of companies including Starr Textile Services — to open state-of-the-art operations to serve the hospitality industry in the Gulf Coast states of Alabama, Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi became a reality. Starr Textile Services is committed to the highest standards of service, relationships and profitability – balanced to the benefit of our customers.The first 30,000-square-foot facility in Foley, Alabama, soon expanded and a Louisiana plant on Magazine Street in New Orleans was added. Each facility backs up the other by utilizing a large fleet for pick-up and delivery services to clients in four states.Business boomed quickly and now Starr Textile Services of Louisiana is housed in a new 70,000-square-foot plant opened in 2013 in Jefferson Parrish, LA. The state-of-the art facilities are highly efficient, innovative, and environmentally-friendly.
