HYPERFLY, founded in San Diego, California in 2011, hand-crafts the world’s finest Jiu-Jitsu kimonos used in competition around the world. Jiu-Jitsu is the oldest form of the martial arts, created by Buddhist monks over 4000 years ago as a non-violent form of self-defense. Today, with the help of John Wick, Black Panther and The Matrix, Jiu-Jitsu has become an international cultural phenomena where HYPERFLY has solidified its place as the domina nt leader. The mantra of HYPERFLY is “You Can’t Teach Heart”® It defines the soul and DNA of HYPERFLY. The YCTH mantra has fostered an international community across the globe offering a voice and platform based on the principles of perseverance, discipline, righteousness and most importantly, love. Whether it be the self-defense program HYPERFLY built for the Jordan Brand teaching Jiu-Jitsu to young victims of abuse or sponsoring Africa’s first Jiu-Jitsu tournament, HYPERFLY is committed above all else to real empowerment. In recent years, the street has picked up on HYPERFLY’s unique flavor of flyness where its kimono collabs with Carhartt WIP, Jordan Brand, Pow!Wow! and Champion have become prized collectibles in the after market.
