Mix-Tek Wisconsin is the premier maker of Pitch Black® Asphalt Emulsion Sealcoat. Pitch Black® is an eco-friendly, locally manufactured, custom rubberized asphalt blend with selected minerals, polymers and chemicals which produce the finest product. Each additive is selected for its characteristics that ultimately produce a sealcoat with the deepest and longest lasting color, firmness, and greatest durability. It is extraordinarily tough, flexible and water repellent, which helps prevent oxidation and water erosion. The coefficient of expansion and contraction of Pitch Black® asphalt pavement sealer is identical to that of asphalt pavement and has a natural affinity for bonding to asphalt pavement. This prevents water and ice from getting into and forming under the pavement to cause breakdown. Performance in the field and lab testing confirm the superiority of Pitch Black® over competitive products in the market place.
