QCI is a construction manager/general contractor located in Santa Clara, and we focus on tenant improvement construction for clients within the restaurant, hospitality, retail, electronics, biotechnology, and office T.I. market segments. We like to think of ourselves primarily as a general contractor, but our services have greatly expanded the GC role to include both facilities management and construction management. We usually get involved during the early phases of the projects, as this allows us the opportunity to deliver our preconstruction services, including budgeting, value engineering and design input, at the point in the projects where these items are of the greatest importance, early design development. We pride ourselves on providing our services at the same level as the larger general contractors, but at a lesser cost. Our labor rates, overhead and fee structure are very competitive compared to most general contractors in the Bay Area. With that said, our project procedures and project management skills were developed while working for one of the largest general contractors in California, and we utilize many of the same project management procedures, albeit with far more flexibility, to assist the owners in meeting their project specific goals.We are exceptionally qualified to be a "one-stop-shop" for pre-construction and construction, as we work with our clients, the design community, City/County jurisdictions, and our subcontractors to ensure a smooth transition from planning into actual construction.
