Adelaide Anaesthetic Services (AAS) was established in 1973, and has grown to be Australia's second largest Anaesthetic Practice with over 40 specialist anaesthetists. Adelaide Anaesthetics is committed to providing patients and surgeons the highest standard of professional anaesthetic services. The Group supports the work of more than two hundred and thirty Surgeons, Obstetricians, Physicians and other doctors in many speciality areas. We provide services to more than 60,000 people in South Australia every year. These include specialties as varied as Ophthalmology, Colorectal, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Ear Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology, Facio-maxillary and Dental, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, as well as General and Paediatric Surgery. Adelaide Anaesthetics is the major provider of Obstetric Anaesthesia in Adelaide, providing Obstetric Analgesia (Epidurals) in all of Adelaide's Major obstetric hospitals.
