Physics and PLTW Engineering Instructor at Archbishop Hannan High School - Meraux, LA, US
Archbishop Hannan High School is a Catholic, co-educational high school serving students in grades 8-12. Originally founded in Meraux, LA in 1987, the school re-located to the Northshore after Hurricane Katrina devastated St. Bernard Parish and the school's campus in 2005.At Archbishop Hannan High School, we take inspiration from the life and ministry of Archbishop Philip M. Hannan to foster faith, inspire academic excellence and develop character. With about 600 students enrolled, we're big enough to offer a broad, college preparatory curriculum and lots of extracurriculars, yet small enough to feel like a warm and loving family. We are a family that encourages each student to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically and creatively. Our faculty members boast a wide range of talents and put them to use both in the classroom and out. Whether it's by way of demanding academics, disciplined coaching or one-to-one mentorship, AHHS teachers help each student explore the full range of his or her interests and talents. Most importantly, we empower students to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and respond to the needs of those in the world around them.
